I just finished listening the book on CDs – The Political Brain: The Role of Emotion in Deciding the Fate of the Nation by Drew Westen.
What a wonderful, entertaining, and very useful from my marketing perspective reading/listening! The political process became clearer to me, and also emotions-based methods of persuasion are now much higher on my respect list… I think every “closet intellectual” like me, who relies on logic in persuasion too much, should check out this book. Yes, we love our logic, but… we should follow our own logic and use the best science available for achieving our goals.
What a pity we can not use subliminal messages for internal promotions of good projects within our organizations… 🙂
